Trainer Type - Personal Trainer

is a Personal Trainer - Grade 3 Trainer.

Personal Trainers provide training in all areas of general fitness and will provide clients with all the motivation and support they need to achieve their desired goals, both short and long term.

They use progressive, periodised training programmes, specific and personal to each client. They select the best loads, reps, sets and order of exercises to overload the body and deliver results significantly better than by training alone. They provide hard AND fun workouts and educate clients on the best exercises to perform and the best intensities to work at.

Required Qualifications

A Personal Trainer should hold a REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals) level 3 qualification or equivalent – the required national standard.

John Banner has been training in the art of Muay Thai (Thai-Boxing) since 2000. Since then has developed into a professional Fighter and Instructor. Trained under Sandy Holt (Double British and European Champion) John has been taught the skills to make any person (Men, women or children) into a fit, enthusiastic, confident person. Whether you want to just lose a bit of weight or fight professionally.

Cardio Training

Cardiovascular training is excellent for weight loss, increase in stamina and an all round increase in your general health. With many different forms of c.v. work, your sure to find a form of cardio work to suit you. Different examples of c.v. work include, Running, swimming, rowing, steps training, circuits, x-trainer, skipping etc.

Strength and Power Training

Strength can be needed for all types of purposes. Better appearance, strength for work, enjoying better quality time with the family and being alot more helpful in the home. Using various training methods and activities, strength can be achieved with hard work, dedication and a good diet.

Special Populations

People with certain handicaps often feel as though they cant take part in training. Very often with the correct knowledge and precautions, all people can take part in certain exercises. Certain populations that have these troubles are Pregnancy, epilepsy, mobility problems, attention problems,M.S., and many more.
